Bachelor of Science in Airport Operations and Management will help students to broaden their knowledge of the aviation industry, designed for aviation professionals willing to master airport technology and management.  The program focuses primarily on logistical knowledge and management skills necessary to oversee the management of an airport and exposes students to different aviation topics such as, airport design, airport business development and airport operations, needed to understand the ins and outs of the everyday management of an airport. The Airports Council International Europe new air traffic forecast projects a full recovery in passenger traffic in 2024. Airport officers willing to stand out from the crowd will be ready to fill future management positions.

Bachelor of Science in AirTraffic Control Operations and Management degree will enhance students' careers prospect and enable graduates to:

 

Understand the importance of an master plan when it comes to airport capacity and the strategic location of the Air Traffic Control tower and the firefighting building

 

Grasp the different aircraft automation systems used nowadays and their impacts on flight crew performances and on human factors.

 

Master the last and future concepts in air traffic management taking into account the ADSB technology implementation.

 

Acquire in-depth knowledge of the different stakeholders involved in airport operations.

 

Develop and implement a safety management system in order to prevent occurrences from happening.

PROGRAM Structure and Content

The Bachelor program structure and content below is based on assumption that candidates would have completed higher education studies (with at least 90 ECTS-Credits) and possess Undergraduate Diplomas, or equivalent qualifications from recognised university or institute. 

Candidate will complete a minimum of 18 Undergraduate Courses with Bachelor Thesis or Project in lieu of transfered credits.  Candidates that possessed Higher Qualifications above 90 ECTS-Credits will be Granted Further Transferable Credits, similarly, additional Undergraduate Courses will be assigned to candidates with less transfer credits

Graduation requirements

 Bachelor of Science in AirTraffic Control Operations and Management degree requires successful completion of minimum 180 ECTS-Credits (European Credits Transfer System) including applicable Transferred Credits. Student performance will be measured against acceptable overall academic achievements.
