Bachelor of Environment Management and Sustainability program focuses on the strengthening of natural environment structures. The program was designed to offer students and professionals the required solid foundation and concepts concerning environmental uses, its protection and sustainability.

 

The Bachelor program will familiarize students and learners with key issues of environment resources and Development through practical focus on environmental issues and management, economics and trade, challenges of rural society, law and governance and information management. Graduates with Bachelor in Environment and Sustainability will acquired skills relating to solid and hazardous waste management and the measures for reducing air, soil and water pollution, and capability to effectively tailor their knowledge to confront local challenges and promote environmental development that sustained growth and harmonious usage of resources.

Learning Outcomes

Bachelor of Environment Management and Sustainability degree will enhance students' careers prospect and enable graduates to:

 

  Able to evaluate current understandings of environmental science, natural resource management and sustainability

 

Contribute to dynamic debates on environmental science, resource management and sustainability issues, recognizing the importance of biophysical and socio-political and cultural contexts.

Examine diverse communication skills to effectively convey and discuss information about environmental science, sustainable development and resource management decisions

Program Structure and Content

The Bachelor program structure and content below is based on assumption that candidates would have completed higher education studies (with at least 90 ECTS-Credits) and possess Undergraduate Diploma / Higher Diploma / Associate Degree or equivalent qualifications from recognised university or training institutes. 

Candidate will complete a minimum of 20 Undergraduate Courses with Bachelor Thesis or Project in lieu of transfered credits.  Candidates that possessed Higher Qualifications above 90 ECTS-Credits will be Granted Further Transferable Credits, similarly, additional Undergraduate Courses will be assigned to candidates with less transfer college-level credits

Bachelor Degree Requirements

Bachelor of Environment Management and Sustainability degree requires successful completion of minimum 180 ECTS-Credits (European Credits Transfer System) including applicable Transferred Credits. Student performance will be measure against acceptable overall academic achievements.  The Total Cumulative Credits of 180-ECTS required can be achieved through the combination of Learning Groups listed below  (pending total credits transferred into the program)

Special Admission Requirements

◙  Applicant must be at least 25-years old

◙  Completed at least 2-years of Undergraduate programs above High School Education

  Possess Undergraduate Diploma or equivalent from recognised institution

  Minimum 1-year of relevant working experience in Environment Management or Civil Services etc

  Adults with lesser qualification but posses years' of experience will also be consider
