Bachelor of Rural Community Development focuses on the strengthening rural economies and
social structures to promote financial independence and improved quality of life
for rural communities. The program is design to prepare
professionals to understand, evaluate, and apply economic and
business practices to empower rural communities to building a healthy and
sustainable economy.
RCST's Bachelor of Rural Community Development program is a
top-up accelerated study program for accomplished professionals that are working in
the fields of Rural Community Development and Management.
The degree program
will focuse on equipping students with skills and abilities to creating applied
changes in social, economic, political, and cultural aspects of rural
communities.
The program will familiarize students with key issues of
Rural Community Development
through practical focus on environmental issues and management, economics and trade,
challenges of rural society, law and governance, healthcare and disease
prevention, and information management.

The Bachelor
program structure and content

based on assumption
that candidates would have
completed higher education studies
(with at least 90 ECTS-Credits) and possess Undergraduate Diploma / Higher
Diploma / Associate
Degree or equivalent qualifications from recognised university or training
institutes.
Candidate
will complete
a minimum of 20 Undergraduate Courses with Bachelor Thesis or Project in
lieu of transfered credits.
Candidates that possessed Higher Qualifications above 90 ECTS-Credits
will be Granted Further Transferable Credits, similarly,
additional Undergraduate Courses will be assigned to
candidates with
less transfer college-level credits
